Disclaimer and risk disclosure

What ClearStrike is

ClearStrike publishes end-of-day options data and analytics for education and research: ranges implied by option prices, how often similar ranges held in the past, implied volatility, open interest and related numbers, and calculators.

ClearStrike does not tell you what to buy or sell, when to enter or exit, what target or stop-loss to use, or how much to invest. It does not manage money, place trades, or give advice suited to your personal situation.

Not investment advice

Nothing on this website, in our reports, emails, videos or social media posts is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, derivative or commodity, or an offer or solicitation to do so.

Labels such as STRONG, WATCH and EVENT describe how options are priced compared with their own history. They are not calls, tips or predictions.

Registration: ClearStrike is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst, and does not provide investment advice or research recommendations.

Risk of loss

Trading in futures and options is risky. You can lose more than the amount you put in, and losses can happen quickly.

SEBI's own study of individual traders in equity F&O found that about 9 in 10 lost money in FY22 to FY24. Please read SEBI's risk disclosures and consider whether F&O trading suits you before you trade.

Ranges implied by option prices are estimates. Prices can and do end outside any range, in either direction.

Past results and backtests

Past results, including our own backtests and track record, do not predict or guarantee future results. Backtests use assumptions about costs and slippage and may not match what you would have achieved.

We publish what did not work as well as what did. Our tests found no reliable way to predict direction.

Data accuracy

Data comes from exchange end-of-day files and, for MCX, broker option-chain snapshots. It is not live. It can be delayed, incomplete or wrong despite our checks. When data is old or incomplete, the page says so.

Always confirm prices, lot sizes and contract details with your broker or the exchange before you trade.

Your responsibility

Any decision you take using information from ClearStrike is your own. To the extent the law allows, ClearStrike and its owner are not liable for any trading or investment loss arising from use of this website or its content. If in doubt, speak to a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
