About ClearStrike

What we do

Every day ClearStrike turns end-of-day options data into plain levels: where Nifty, Bank Nifty, Sensex, about 210 NSE F&O stocks and MCX commodities can go tomorrow and till expiry, according to option prices. Next to each range we show where price actually ended in the past, so you can see how often it held.

The technical numbers behind it (implied volatility, IV rank, put-call ratio, max pain, open-interest levels) are one tap away for experienced traders, but you do not need to know them to read a range.

Why we exist

SEBI's own study found that about 9 in 10 individual F&O traders lost money (FY22 to FY24). A lot of options content sells excitement: tips, calls, screenshots of profits. We would rather help you understand what the options market is actually pricing, and how often that was right.

Most people do not need another prediction. They need to see the odds clearly before they risk money.

Our promises

1. Every number comes with its sample size, and we say what we did not find. Our own tests found no reliable way to predict direction, and the track-record page says so.

2. No buy or sell calls, no tips, no profit screenshots, no testimonials about money, no guarantees.

3. We show where we were wrong too. When price ended outside the range, it is shown in red.

4. Data is end-of-day, not live. When it is old, the page tells you so instead of pretending it is fresh.

5. A useful free version stays free: today's ranges, the past record, calculators and learning articles.

What we are not

We are not a broker, an adviser or a signal service, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Option prices describe what the market expects; prices can and do end outside any range.

Where the numbers come from

Nifty and Bank Nifty: NSE end-of-day futures and options data. Sensex: BSE derivatives data. F&O stocks: NSE end-of-day data, with announced results and index events marked so a known event is not mistaken for something unusual. MCX commodities: option-chain snapshots through a broker API. The method is written out on the Methodology page, and what our backtests did and did not show is on the Track record page.

Who is behind it

ClearStrike is built by Shambhu Singh Chauhan from Marwar. He holds an MBA and has been a full-time trader for over 20 years, across equities, F&O and commodities.

Over those years he saw that the right information rarely reaches retail traders, and that most people enter the market without really understanding it. ClearStrike exists to close that gap: options data in plain language, so you can see what the market is pricing in before you put money at risk.

ClearStrike is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst, and does not provide investment advice or research recommendations. It is an education and data tool.
